Danubien Partnership– Partnerships along the Danube 2011 - to be held in Budapest, between the 27th-29th of April, 2011.
Our organisation, „Together for Each Other in Europe” has been granted by the Hungarain National Civic Foundation to realise its In Hungary, during the last five years, more than 50 partnerships have been created with the support of the state. Overall, more than 100 employment projects were developed and launched within the framework of the pacts. Well working partnerships have proved territorial employment pacts to be a useful tool in increasing a region’s capacity to create resources as well as to come up with beforehand unknown innovative approaches in the field of employment.
Based on their achievments, territorial employment pacts have earned the status to be a model and best practice for local and international partnerships, in terms of communication as well as networking and network-building.
During the days of the conference, representatives of partnerships from Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia, Romania as well as of the countries of the trio-presidency of Spain, Belgium and Hungary will present how partnerships in their respective countries help in finding solutions to today’s most pressing issue of sustaining and creating jobs, as well as the challlenges and results of working in partnerships.
The first day of the conference will be dedicated to the presentation of the partnerships and their best employment initiatives. During the second day, participants will visit successfull Hungarian employment pacts.
The last day will be a day of summary and closure, focusing on the creation of a written recommendation - addressed to the European Commsission - concerning the further the development of partnerships, as well as on the wording of the document „Budapest Declaration of Partnerships of along the Danube”, which is to lay the basis of future networking and co-operation of partnerships of the Danube countries.
